Higher Ed

A number of years ago, a friend who worked at an alumni magazine offered me a couple of assignments. It didn't take long to get hooked.
Since then, I've written for institutions ranging from Columbia, Penn, and Juilliard to NYU-Poly, Denison, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the University of Florida, Penn State, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and the Fashion Institute of Technology. (I've also written a good deal of marketing and PR material for universities and research organizations, some of which you can see here.)
I love the varietyI've had the opportunity to tackle everything from molecular biology and financial engineering to environmentalism and haute coutureand I'm even able to get back in touch with my roots as a failed academic. (Yes, that's me in the photo, doing fieldwork in West Africa. Yes, I really am that pale. And no, I am not wearing a table cloth.)
